Corporate Lawyer

PayCompliance is a compliance consulting firm for financial institutions with a focus on the payment industry. We are operating out of Lviv (Ukraine), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Hong Kong and are helping clients from various countries to obtain financial licences and comply with regulatory and AML/KYC requirements globally. PayCompliance started in 2014 and is looking to grow the team.

For our team we are looking for a Corporate Lawyer.

Job Description

The Corporate Lawyer has the following areas of responsibility:

• Co-build the business line for licensing of Payment Institutions and E-Money Institutions
• Consult clients on their licence application
• Work with documents, application forms, regulatory acts and requirements
• Organise daily activities of the department
• Build and maintain the internal knowledge base
• Co-manage the external expert and partner network
• Create a wide variety of marketing material (print, audio, video)
• Write Business plans

Personal Requirements

• You may have a degree in a finance-related field, regulatory affairs or law however this is not mandatory
• You have to be equally comfortable being an operations person and marketer as well as being a detail oriented lawyer
• You have to be client oriented with a practical approach when dealing with customer’s requirements — a highly structured and detail oriented but keeping an eye on the big picture at the same time
• You are strong in gathering and processing information as well as delivering the service and improving performance
• You may have been working as a management consultant or a consultant in the banking industry. You can still apply if you don’t have this background. The right cultural fit with our organisation and your personality is more important than your experience
• Knowledge of the financial regulatory ecosystem of the major financial markets will be helpful;
• Top level of English in writing and verbal expression
