QA Analyst

SimCorp Ukraine is seeking a Test Analyst with experience from testing of commercial software. You will be part of the Investment Book Of Records (IBOR) organization that is responsible for the development and test of components in SimCorp Dimension primarily related to the clearing and settlement of financial instruments. SimCorp Dimension is one of the leading investment management systems in the world and is used by financial institutions and equity funds in all international and financial markets today.

The job

As a Test Analyst, you will be a part of Agile Team that is a cross-functional group of individuals who have the ability and authority to define, build and test Solution value - all in a short iteration time box.

You will be involved in release planning and especially add value in the following activities:

• Defining testable user stories, including acceptance criteria
• Participating in project and quality risk analyses
• Estimating testing effort associated with the user stories
• Defining the necessary test levels
• Planning the testing for the release

You will be responsible that any given user story progresses sequentially through the Feature acceptance testing:

• Feature validation testing, which is usually manual and can involve developers, testers, and business stakeholders working collaboratively to determine whether the feature is fit for use
• Feature verification testing, which is often automated and involves testing against the user story's acceptance criteria

You will be a part of Investment Book Of Records (IBOR) Agile Release Train - set of Scrum teams, where you have colleagues situated in both Kiev and Copenhagen, Denmark. Furthermore, you will be part of a professional development department with 450 employees in Denmark, Germany, Ukraine and England, releasing SimCorp Dimension functionality twice a year.

Your qualifications

We expect you to:

• have a Masters or Ph.D. degree in quantitative disciplines, such as Economical Cybernetics, Mathematics or Finance
• have excellent analytical skills and logical thinking ability
• have interest in quality assurance (software testing)
• have the ability to locate and describe a problem, pay attention to detail
• have great English communication skills, written as well as spoken, as English is our corporate language
• have the aspiration to contribute to our continuous aim of professionalising
• value a constant further development of your qualifications within software testing.
