Trade Marketing Manager

    Nestle Ukraine, worldwide leader in Food and Beverage industry, successfully working and developing in Ukraine, is announcing an opening of the Trade Marketing Manager position in Kyiv.


    Main Responsibilities:

    • Develop vision and strategy for the channel including subchannels: Discounters, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Convenience Stores of all types;
    • Provide a clear 5P vision for the channel across all appropriate brands (assortment, placement (planograms), price positioning, promo activities, trade equipment, POSM etc);
    • Execute category strategy in the customers of the appropriate channel;
    • Conduct strategic analysis for the channel using retail audit panel data, consumer and shopper insights, other informational sources;
    • Identify key opportunities to boost category growth in the channel and unlock them;
    • Monitor competitors' activities and category evolution in the channel;
    • Take active part in ICP process, ensure provision of commercial insights for the brand planning process at channel level according to ICP calendar deadlines;
    • Set up trade promotion guidelines and priorities by subcategory for the channels and facilitate regular pre- and post-evaluation of trade promotions;
    • Assist Sales in analyzing customers and search for new opportunities within the Channel.
    • Make presentations to customers to influence key category decisions;
    • Lead Category Management projects with key customers (incl. execution);
    • Conduct regular category reviews on marketing mix (assortment, placement, pricing, promo activities, presentation) with key customers suggesting best practices;
    • Train and coach sales force on category in the channel, on products and merchandising standards.


    Main requirements:

    • University Degree;
    • 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing or MDO;
    • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and analytical skills;

    • Category mindset;

    • High level of initiative, ability to work cross-functionally:

    • Understanding of product strategy of NPP and competitors;

    • Upper intermediate English.
