Interpreter / Translator - HHI Project

Job Summary:

International Medical Corps is partnering with Harvard Humanitarian Institute (HHI) to develop content and implement instructor-led and virtual remote trainings. These trainings will be delivered at multiple healthcare facilities in Ukraine. The Interpreter will provide translation services for English into Ukrainian and vice versa during HHI and IMC supported trainings in Kyiv, Dnipro and Odessa. 

 Main Responsibilities: 

  • Provide translation services for English into Ukrainian & Vice versa during HHI and IMC supported trainings
  • Facilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency
  • Ensure all interpretation and translation work is clear and accurate
  • Translate small training related materials if needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least six months of relevant experience in translation services
  • Ability to communicate in both local and English languages.
  • Familiarity with the humanitarian sector is required. Experience with international organizations will be prioritized.
  • Candidates with medical background will be preferred.
