Background:

JOB SUMMARY
This position is based in Mariupol, requires regular and non-regular travel between the regions of IMC operations in Ukraine (including Donetsk region). To transport authorised passengers on their official duties, as well transport cargo safely and as instructed. This includes collecting materials from project and suppliers. This position will spend the majority of time in local communities and partial time in office settings for the completion of administrative duties. Duty hours are from 8:00 to 17:00, Mon-Fri.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- To adhere to International Medical Corps policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
- Understand and obey all traffic laws and regulations
- Accurately keep the vehicle log sheets
- Performance of daily vehicle inspections according to International Medical Corps standards
- Applying the standard regulations and procedures in case of accident.
- Assist the Supply Chain and Administration departments in procurement, inventory & asset management and maintenance of IRC premises as and when needed and in adherence to the relevant policies
- Ability and willingness to undertake frequent trips to and from field locations
- Commitment to working to serve humanitarian needs in line the values of integrity, service and accountability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driving license (minimum 2 years)
- Previous experience with a non-profit organisation is a plus.
