Financial Controller (non-residents)

    Betinvest Ltd is a leading provider of digital solutions to the sports-betting and gaming industry, supporting both online and land-based operators.

     

    Currently we are looking for responsible and motivated Financial Controller to join our team. The Finance Controller will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounting and overseeing all financial activities in non-residents and will report directly to the CFO.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare regular BS, P&L and CF statements in 1C. Timely and accurate reporting of monthly results, and provide stakeholders with necessary disclosures. Performing accrual and payment control;
    • Maintain and organize regular IFRS financial reporting process in existing and newly created companies;
    • Maintain control over intragroup processes and procedures focusing on accuracy and timeliness of accounting postings. Coordinate, facilitate intragroup trading activities;
    • Coordinate with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of external audits and statutory filings for the region responsible i.e. Financial Statements, VAT and Tax returns;
    • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of accounting information posted in 1C;
    • Organization of reconciliation process with suppliers and payment solution providers;
    • Perform accurate recording of month/quarter/year-end transactions with Accounting Providers and compile necessary information from them;
    • Lead and facilitate the preparation of accounting documents (contracts, acts, tax receipts, register of income books);
    • Preparing data for internal/management reporting, financial period closing procedures;
    • Support of CFO and other internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.

     

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • University degree in Audit/Accounting/Finance;
    • Professional Certificate in Accountancy (ACCA member or in progress) will be an advantage;
    • 2+ years of relevant working experience in similar position;
    • Excellent background of financial accounting, IFRS, taxation;
    • Experience in one of the Big 4 Accounting firms or any other multinational organization will be an advantage;
    • PC skills: working knowledge of 1C 8, confident user of MS Excel;
    • Not lower than intermediate level of English;
    • Ability to work in multitask mode;
    • Analytical thinking, initiative, focus on results, responsibility.
