Our partner, the international tobacco company looking for Country Category Buyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering country strategic commercial agreements in the Indirect Services (Logistic, HR and Advertising & Promotion Services);
• Develop deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed;
• Carry out relevant market research to influence the development of strategies;
• Bring appropriate innovation, best practices and ideas from the market to business;
• Confident with knowledge of operational project implementation;
• Ensure contingency planning is in place for all key suppliers / services managed;
• Develop peer relationships and continually work with key stakeholders ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced;
• Undertake adequate analysis and planning to enable effective supplier negotiations which deliver a world class cost base;
• Conclusion of contracts, ongoing monitoring of their implementation and solving issues regarding performance of obligations;
• Implementation and adherence to key performance indicators and quality, understanding of audit and compliance needs;
• Responsible for tracking benefits managed;
• Support of Global projects and implementation and participation in cross-functional projects;
• Develop category strategies on local/regional level.

Key Requirements:

• Higher education (University degree preferably with a numerical basis);
• Minimum 3 years Category Leadership in FMCG company;
• Fluent oral and written English, native Ukrainian & Russian;
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel ,Word and Power Point; Visio as a plus;
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills are essential;
• Excellent organizational/ communication skills (both internally and externally);
• Team player, self driven, taking initiative and able to quickly deal with changes;
