Associate Quality Manager

World’s leading makers of household products is currently looking for Associate Quality Manager in Ukraine, Kyiv.

Position Purpose:

Lead the plant Quality team to drive functional excellence, consistent standards and systems, and employee led and owned quality programs to drive continued improvement in plant; being the Q voice for projects that are affecting Kyiv Plant.

Requirements:

• 3+ years working in a quality related field; 1+ years of Management Experience a plus; broad based multi-functional experience a plus;
• Strong communication skills — both written and orally. Ability to present on various topics to executive committees when requested and discussing issues with plant personnel;
• Experience in problem solving; broad based statistics; consumer data management; process control and capability programs; developing new systems;
• Experience in working in a matrix organization and familiarity with the lean structure;
• University degree in Scientific Discipline;
• English language — Intermediate+ as must

Primary Accountabilities:

• Driving implementation of quality policies, strategies, standards and global initiatives at the plant level, and identifying plant best practices and world class programs to recommend for global standards;
• Embed quality mindset into plant and using the lean mentality and tools where possible by co-partnering with other stakeholders to strengthen the quality culture and transform from management to employee-led quality programs;
• Align with Site Manager, Regional Quality Director and Regional Business Leads on priorities, objectives, strategies and KPI’s and be accountable for the delivery of such items at the plant level;
• Providing adequate resources to address internal failures found either supplier based or operationally based to determine root cause and effectively eliminate the issue;
• Providing infrastructure to run product on lines that are qualified, capable, and possess all of the correct and complete product and line specifications, and empowering line personnel to not run product if this infrastructure is not in place;
• Support product introduction at Kiev plant;
• Drive intense focus on consumer in all quality activities;
• Provide adequate training to operators on the line on quality tools in general and also linked to the Q Pillar to build competence and capability and training to plant employees to drive employee owned and led quality;
• Lead and manage the Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance/Control plant pillars;
• Assure quality of product through receipt of incoming goods, in process product and finished product;
• Build robust Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with internal standards as well as ISO 9001:2015 standards that drives continuous improvement in Quality performance;
• Continually monitor KPIs by line to routinely understand all losses to drive improvement;
• Assure adequate control of nonconforming product to eliminate exposure of poor quality product to customer/consumer;
• Management of Quality employees within the plant.
