PHP Developer

VARTEQ is a US-based product development and technology consulting company that helps clients drive their business by delivering excellent engineering solutions. Founded in 2008, the company has a team of professionals from all over the world.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PHP Developer who has a passion for coding and creating innovative solutions. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and improving our in-house frameworks and libraries that are designed specifically for developers and technology companies. You will also be involved in developing a new generation of a low-code/no-code solution for creating full-featured web and mobile applications.

Qualification:
- 2+ years of commercial development experience using PHP 7/8
- 2+ years of practical experience working with MySQL/PostgreSQL (the ability to build queries of varying complexity is a must)
- Working with famous PHP frameworks and knowing their weaknesses and strong side
- A working knowledge of the ReactJS
- Good understanding of OOP
- Knowledge of design patterns, with practical experience in implementing them
- High debugging skills not only echo and die
- Know and love unit testing
- English: intermediate + (spoken and written)

Would be a plus:
- Working knowledge of the SQL Server
- Experience with agile project methodologies (and their impact on iterative design)
- Experience working in a continuous integration environment

Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining PHP web applications and APIs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver new features
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Build queries of varying complexity using MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in existing applications
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
