Analyst (Strategy and Development)

CRH in Ukraine  is seeking an Analyst, who will work with the Strategy and Development Director and members of the management teams across Ukraine on various strategy development initiatives and potential acquisition projects in order to help the business to execute its growth ambitions and to create value.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist the process to define the strategy and development plans for the whole business in Ukraine and provide analytical support;  

* Presentations, infographics, data analysis, market search (ppt, word, excel).

• Support research on market, industry trends and innovation/ whitespace;   

* Market analysis, presentations, stakeholder management (ppt, excel, emails).

• Build analytical models and perform financial and business analysis concerning new business models and plans;

*Financial models, indicators analysis, forecasts, trends, drafts of summaries and recommendations (excel, ppt);

• Take part in different strategic projects including acquisition (M&A) processes consisting of strategic fit analysis, business assessment, due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, integration and post-closing issue resolution   

* DD draft memo, valuation model, stakeholder and project management assistance (ppt, excel, emails);

• Assist in project management of a targeted development opportunity from initiation to closing;

* Project management and stakeholder management support (ppt, excel, emails)

Key functional competencies:  

• Professional experience in business/finance and related areas at consulting or industry;
• Strong economic or finance background;
• Expertise in financial modelling and data analytics;
• Big4, invest banking or other international consulting experience will be a strong asset;
• Good skills in building relationships;
• Trustworthy and with high time management skills;
• Creative and analytical thinking;
• Strong financial, analytical, forecasting skills;
