Engineer with Talend expertise, Travel Services

Our client is a global travel-tech company that provides various travel services.

The team is currently developing, enhancing, and improving the intelligence data platform. Currently, the system is heavily using a Talend-based technology stack (Talend Data Factory 7.3: ESB, ETL, MDM) and acts as a central entry point. The platform integrates with a number of internal and external components and acts as a central front-end for the data input for its users located in 100+ countries around the world. The system is deployed to 3 separate Azure regions (LATAM, APAC, EMEA) to comply with data residency and PII requirements.We invite you to our company, not a project

The project team is medium size that consists of 10-20 people. We are looking for a Engineer with Talend experience to support, develop and improve the intelligence data platform using Talend suite and administrate Talend products. Java is a plus.

TECHNOLOGY STACK

Talend Data Factory 7.3 (ESB, MDM, ETL, TAC). Will be a plus - Java8, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Re-engineering, optimizations, and ongoing maintenance of the data ingestion and validation platform focusing on data quality, standardization, and enrichment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Talend
• Experience with Java would be a plus
• Experience with SQL databases 
• Spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience designing and using REST APIs 
• Working experience with Jenkins 
• Experience in the travel industry
