Senior QA Perfomance Tester, Telemedicine Solutions; Sign-on bonus: $2000

DataArt is assembling a team for an incipient project with a modern stack and microservices architecture. The client is looking to architect and builds a complex platform to support multiple telehealth solutions. This is a unique situation when modernization is practically a green field with an opportunity to design things right.

The client is a telemedicine company. A comprehensive digital solution developed by their technicians enables new models of patient care. The basic principle of operation is patient-doctor communication via secure video channels. The service runs on both Web and Mobile applications.

We are looking for an experienced and open-minded professional with a strong knowledge of test methodologies and software release cycles. Experience with testing in a microservices environment and with end-to-end contract-based user testing is a big plus.

We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new performance diagnostic and analysis tools and techniques
• Develop and improve performance test coverage
• Troubleshoot and diagnose application performance issues
• Promote performance standards and best practices and provide guidance to other software engineers
• Collaborate with other engineers and development managers

Must have

• 4+ years experience as a Test Automation Engineer
• Basic knowledge of Java
• Experience with JMeter, Gatling/Scala and other performance testing tools and techniques
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and Postgres)
• Experience testing in a microservice environment
• Experience with end to end contract-based user testing
• Spoken English

Would be a plus

• Experience with one or more scripting languages (bash, Python, etc.) in a Unix environment
• Experience with Mongo, Redis
• Experience with AWS
• Experience working with Kubernetes and EKS
