Data Analyst

This London-based client is one of the world's most established stock exchanges. DataArt is working with multiple business units, helping the customer to re-architect key aspects of its data infrastructure and business applications, including taking them to the cloud. Our scope of engagement includes modern frontend development, data streaming, data warehousing, modern APIs, and other areas.

You will be working in a team of highly skilled engineers and hands-on architects. All team members, including project managers, are hands-on, with a technical background.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Responsibilities 

• Capture business requirements across a range of business units and translate them into detailed requirements related to data models data transformation
• Become an expert in Snowflake
• Ensuring adherence to the client's security policies and data quality practices
• Be a point of contact for business stakeholders in relation to the use of data & analytics in general

Required Skills and Experience 

• Data analysis skills
• Expertise working with Data Warehouse, building reports
• Skills working with data insights etc. treatment of data - e.g. sensitive data
• Strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems
• SQL and data modeling skills
• Spoken English

 
Additional Competencies 

• Experience in the Finance domain
• Experience with Power BI, modern data stores, and data warehouses – Snowflake
• Data Engineering skills and technologies – ETL tools, Python
