DevOps with Cloud Security Experience, Fintech Solutions

Our client is a successful fintech start-up based in London.

The client is expanding its cloud engineering group (team of 5 DevOps), and is now looking for a talented and motivated DevOps with Cloud Security experience (Team of 2-3 Engineers).

The Cloud Security Engineer is expected to perform various functions, including actively contributing to the overall implementation of security cloud architecture in the company.

DevOps team helps to improve and develop new designs and security strategies across all types of cloud-based applications (including infrastructure, platform, and software as a service).

The company is growing very rapidly, but remains a small company in which engineers are required to contribute to many aspects of their departments’ roles in the wider business.

The rate of change is very fast, and this role would be good for technologically skilled enthusiasts who want to develop their skills further more since our client is able to provide enough space for professional growth.

Main project stack, but not limited to AWS, Terraform, ELK stack, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker.

Required Skills and Experience

• Communication skills
• The ability to “get things done” in a flexible dynamic organization without having to rely on line management authority over other team members
• Automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as code such as Terraform
• Implementing security features in AWS, Azure or GCP (AWS is a big plus)
• Deep Experience in at least one of the following areas: Network Security, Host/System Security, Identity access management, Cryptography
• Proven track record as a Cloud Security Engineer within a commercial environment

Additional Competencies

• Team-oriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to talk easily to people at all levels
• Good organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
•  Working in a regulated sector: PCI-DSS, CIS baseline, ISO 27001, ISAE 3402/SOC II controls
