FullStack (PHP + React.js) Engineer, Online Ticketing Platform

Our client is an online travel agency with a global presence and aspirations to expand further.

Currently, we are working with the client to build and enhance their online B2C ticketing platform.

DataArt’s team has been working with this client for more than two years and is now the only successful vendor, developing this product from scratch and providing support in other projects.

Our specialists are constantly working on redesigns and adding new functionalities to the B2C ticketing platform.

In this project, we are using the Google Cloud Platform and a dockerized environment with CI/CD pipelines. Also, there is a modern stack used on both the frontend and backend with RESTful APIs.

The processes are based on Agile development principles (Scrum, Kanban).

We are looking for a specialist who will join our friendly and helpful small team of engineers.

You will have many technical challenges, constant growth, and you will be keeping up to date with industry changes and modern technologies.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of backend development experience using PHP
• 3+ years of frontend development experience using React.js, Redux
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• Knowledge of popular PHP frameworks (Symfony is a plus)
• Experience writing Unit Tests (PHPUnit)
• Fundamental knowledge of HTML5, CSS
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience of continuous integration (TeamCity, Jenkins)
• Knowledge and skills in programming (OOP)
• Good spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Experience in the travel industry
• Experience with Next.js, Express.js
• Experience with Redux, Saga, Server Side Rendering
• Experience with Styled-components
