Middle Java Developer

We’re looking for a Java developer or even an established team leader to head a team of data processing developers for a project in an international company.

Our client is known as a gold standard for enterprise risk and compliance solutions. An AI-powered technology helps global banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms identify bad, risky, or uncultured communications by employees, preventing massive fines or reputation loss. The product has global recognition and has collected many awards.

You and your team will be integrating this platform with different data sources. The sources not only provide text data, but also audio streams. The team is currently forming and you have a great chance to participate in a project from the very beginning.

Responsibilities

• Data processing framework development
• Mentoring junior developers
• Empowering team members to improve their product knowledge and software development skills
• Contributing to the growth of the team.
• Act as a mentor for junior and mid developers. Provide help to less skilled team members to achieve their goals

Must have

• 2+ years of programming experience in Java
• A [S.O.L.I.D.] understanding of Design Patterns
• Understanding of Java Concurrency
• Hands-on experience with Spring
• Experience in Linux administration and shell scripting
• Experience working with databases (SQL)
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven)

Would be a plus

• Experience in ETL development
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)
• Experience in integration with third-party systems
• Understanding of distributed system architecture and principles
• Experience working with ZooKeeper
• Experience in Java profiling and heap-dumps analysis
