Middle DevOps Engineer, Gaming App

The client develops mobile logic games for iOS and Android, and DataArt's experts are helping with the testing of them. A change to full assembly automation is in the plans. The project is growing, and three large areas for growth are being considered: BigData, DevOps, and Development.

DataArt's team consists of 2 QA engineers and a team leader who communicates directly with the client. Currently, we're looking for 2 DevOps engineers to join the team and work on improving the development process.

Main technologies used: AWS, K8S, Terraform, Cloud Formation, New Relic, Elastic Search, and Jenkins files.

Responsibilities

• Managing the provisioning of networking and infrastructure resources for the project
• Build and maintain highly available systems using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Develop automation scripts for application deployment
• Participate in on-call rotations

Must have

• Operations or systems administration experience, particularly with Linux
• Strong experience with container technologies and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with IaC-Cloud Formation, Terraform
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
• Knowledge of virtualization, such as VM Ware or Cisco ACI
• Experience with application deployment using CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to analyze, identify & fix issues in a complex cloud-based environment
• Understanding the composition of the file system, networking, package management systems, and *nix security concepts
• Good spoken English
