Senior DevOps Engineer, Banking Services

DataArt's client is a fintech startup. It provides an electronic banking service for Asian countries and works on the principle of digital bank accounts, supplemented by a card. The client's headquarters are located in Kuala Lumpur, and there are also offices in Singapore and London.

The project is to develop a mobile application and migrate it to Google Cloud. This is a bankless application for making payments from a multicurrency account. The team is responsible for the development of new and the maintenance of existing features on production. The position offers the possibility of growth in the direction of team leader or Cloud architect.

The specialists work in separate subgroups: development team, L1-L2 support, and infrastructure team. The processes are built according to Agile (Scrum).

The application backend is implemented in Java, PostgreSQL, Linux, GCP, and the frontend is in iOS-Swift and Android-Java.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to one of DataArt's companies. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Must have

• Experience with large cloud-deployed systems
• Experience in administering cloud platforms based on Google Cloud
• Experience with K8S (Kubernetes), Terraform, Docker
• Experience in implementing CI/CD
• Knowledge of Linux
• Good spoken English

Would be a plus

• Knowledge of Java, ability to read code
