Senior JavaScript Engineer, Assets Analysis App

The client has been creating tools that simplify working with bonds and other fixed income assets for over 15 years. The software developed by the company helps to analyze securities based on the following parameters: yield, the circulation period, liquidity, and reliability. Acquired data is compared with the expectations of investors, allowing them to discover which investment fits best.

The client's products are used by companies of various sizes, from private investment advisors to the largest exchange market players. However, the possibilities open to our client are limited by the capabilities of the existing software. DataArt is now developing an entirely new system, from the data warehouses and backend components to the frontend interface. A part of business processes must be modernized according to the requirements of the market. Also among our goals is to help the client expand the system's functionality.

We are not hiring the specialist just for this project, but also for one of the companies of the global DataArt network. When the project is over, or if after some time you no longer are satisfied by the project, you can discuss transitioning to another project with the managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES5, ES6);
• Experience working with single-page applications created on Angular.js or Angular;
• Solid knowledge of related technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS3, HTTP, and WebSockets;
• Solid understanding of OOP, functional programming, component approach in JavaScript;
• Skills working with version control systems (Git, GitHub, CVS, SVN, and Mercurial);
• Experience working with Node.js;
• Good spoken English.

Additional Competences:

• Experience implementing unit tests in JavaScript using Karma, Jasmine, Jest, and Mocha;
• Knowledge of code testing techniques (BDD, TDD);
• Experience working with other frameworks: Angular.js, Vue.js;
• Experience working with various CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation) and approaches (pre/post-processing, CSS-modules, Radium, etc.);
• Experience using continuous integration systems (Jenkins, TeamCity).
