Product Owner, Communications Solutions

The client is an American company that's working in the communications solutions industry focused on large companies and corporations.

They specialize in services for sending voice and text messages, notifications, organizing online conferences, alerts about natural disasters, creating interactive voice menus and newsletters, sending messages on a schedule, etc.

Development is conducted using a comprehensive stack of technologies: .NET, Objective-C, Java 8, PHP, MS SQL, AngularJS. The processes are built on Agile. The system's features are continuously expanding and getting supplemented with new opportunities as per requests of the company's customers.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the functions of the product owner
• Forming the vision of the product in cooperation with the customer
• Consulting with the client in order to choose the best way of creating the product (with the help of key specialists from the telecom practice)
• Managing the business analysis by creating and maintaining effective processes and communications
• Analyzing the market and researching competitors

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience analyzing businesses and/or carrying out the functions of a product owner
• The ability to form the vision for a product and help a client with the management of the formed vision
• The ability to clearly understand a client's business needs and communicate them to the project team
• Product-oriented thinking
• Process orientation is needed for proper scope management and being able to work within our company's process framework
• The skill to create business analysis processes from scratch and to support existing ones
• Experience with fast paced agile development cycle
• No formal restrictions to go on foreign trips that last at least 2 weeks
• Good spoken English
