UX/UI Lead, Global Retail Services

Our client is a global retail and wholesale company operating across Europe and several countries in Asia and Africa. It is the leading international player in the trade industry. It is customer-focused and innovative. Its distinctive business concept is helping professional customers successfully run their businesses.

DataArt's specialists are developing a product from scratch for the company's customers from various countries. The product allows you to manage suppliers, orders, inventories, billing, promotion, and other logistics operations.

In this project, the designer will work directly with product owners, assist them in finding solutions and communicating their ideas, make changes to the future product from the point of view of the UX and UI at the PO level. The existing design team will help with the process and provide support.

The project uses modern approaches to the product development process, such as Spotify Framework, Continuous Deployment, etc.

The codebase is written in PHP 7.2, Symfony 4.1, Doctrine, Twig, PHPUnit,  Swagger. The frontend is written in Angular.  The following storages are used for working with data: MySQL 5.6/5.7, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, Influx DB.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in conducting interviews with clients, users, and potential target audiences
• Ability to create documents based on the information collected for further use
• Communication skills
• Ability to listen and present their ideas
• Intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for solving UX problems of varying complexity
• Experience in creating wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, mind maps, interaction scenarios, storyboards, etc.
• Skills with the following tools: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Zeplin, Abstract, Principle, Flinto
• Knowledge of modern design trends
• Understanding of methodologies and design processes focused on user convenience
• Ability to work in a distributed team
• Willingness to accept criticism
• A portfolio that demonstrates the above skills
• Good spoken and written English
• Ready to stay onsite with the client (in Germany) up to 50% of the time

Additional Competencies

• Experience in large enterprise products/marketplaces
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of German
