Sabre Expert (offshore/nearshore)

DataArt's team, together with one of our clients, is developing an innovative platform targeted at optimize travelers' flights cost. The platform is based on Sabre API and we are looking for a Sabre Expert to join the team and provide the knowledge of Sabre GDS tools and best practices.

We are ready to consider part-time (60 hours/month) and full-time engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy to project stakeholders in regards to Sabre GDS's capabilities and constrains
• Collect requirements and compose high-level specifications for the development team
• Consult the development team on desired product functionality and Sabre related questions
• Provide high-level testing of the developed functionally

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of working with Sabre GDS.
• Proficiency with shopping, booking, ticketing, voiding, cancelling, and exchanging flights in Sabre
• In-depth understanding of PNRs, their attributes, types, and queues
• Understanding of flights pricing: price quotes, qualifiers (passenger types, corporate codes, fare types, branded fares usage, etc.)
• Knowledge of Sabre API
• General understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience in specifying requirements for software features
• Experience in communication with stakeholders, clarifying requirements
• Good spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Hotel shopping, booking and view/modification Sabre tools and APIs, work with hotel PNR segments
• Experience working with IUR processing, mid-back office tools and processes with Sabre
• Experience in developing services based on Sabre API
• Experience in working with databases
