BigData Specialist

We are looking for an engineer to extend DataArt's Big Data Competence Center. This position involves participation in Big Data projects across all the industries DataArt serves, internal R&D projects to acquire and apply new technologies, presales to customers as a technology expert, the internal mentorship program, various conferences, and public events.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Big Data general concepts
• Strong Knowledge of Java, Scala
• Strong Knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Map-Reduce, Yarn, Hive)
• Strong Knowledge of NoSQL DB (any popular)
• Strong Knowledge of Spark (Core, SQL, Streaming)
• Strong Knowledge of Kafka
• Spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Hortonworks Data Platform (or Cloudera)
• Experience with Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
• DevOps skills
• Experience troubleshooting production systems
