Data Analyst (Business Intelligence)

DataArt is looking for a data analyst for a business analysis team that provides multiple customers from different client departments with information about key operating and financial metrics. The project team collects data from internal and external information systems for integrating and building reports and studies.

We expect the specialist to possess skills in the extraction and preparation of data, have the willingness to work independently during formulating and testing hypotheses, as well as during the choice of data sources and tools.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with business users to formulate hypotheses and ways for testing them
• Identifying data sources, including external hypotheses for testing
• Extracting and preparing data for analysis (ETL)
• Data analysis, hypothesis testing, identifying correlations and patterns
• Presenting research results to business users
• Building standard reports and indicator panels
• Assisting business users with answers to data questions

Required Skills and Experience

• Higher education in natural science
• Analytical mindset, ability to formulate problems and questions
• Knowledge of mathematical statistics
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Data Analysis Tools
• Skills in extracting and processing data from disparate sources, including the use of scripts
• Knowledge of English (confident written, basic spoken)

Additional Competences

• Ability to build reports and indicator panels in Sisense
• Skills in building predictive models
• Knowledge of Python or R
• Skills in using Tableau for visual presentation of data
• Understanding of corporate finance
