Senior QA Automation Engineer

For the IT Department we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer. Our IT department is split over 2 locations, our headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, and our office in Odessa, Ukraine. This vacancy is for our young and fast-paced team based in Odessa.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take our current testing frame-work to the next level.
• Introduce, maintain and embed automated testing in our Agile Environment.
• Give support and guidance to (junior) testers.
• Be hands-on with (automated) testing.
• Be an enthusiastic and pro-active member of the SCRUM team

Experience

• 3 years' experience as an Agile Tester in a Scrum Team  
• At least 3 years' experience in using test automation tools
• Solid experience in continuous integration tools
• Hands-on experience in non-functional testing is a plus
• Hands-on experience in Salesforce environment is a plus
• Experience in writing Python scripts
• Solid experience using Selenium

Knowledge

• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written, English)
• A good understanding of software testing principles and techniques
• A good understanding of test automation frameworks
• ISTQB foundation level, or similar, certified is a big plus
• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is a plus

• Know how to convince a developer why he shouldn't introduce new defects, run the tests upfront and have him buy you a drink afterwards.
