Our Client, a multinational FMCG company, has opened a position of

Demand Planning Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons

• Provide short-term and long-term sales forecasts based on the analysis of internal and external information

• Analyze current sales, prepare scenarios, identify risks and opportunities, prepare presentations and facilitate monthly cross-functional demand meetings focused on reaching consensus on the final forecast as part of Sales and Operations process. Translate risks and opportunities into an action plan involving the necessary functions

• Prepare key KPI reports and analyze forecast accuracy and demand trends to support the monthly Sales and Operations cycle

• Evaluate future sales for new products and other activities of the marketing and sales department and support of their recommendations

• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs

• Build processes to ensure effective communication with sales, supply planning and customer service, marketing and other interested parties to obtain all necessary information for planning, discussing and evaluating sales plans

• Implement additional special analysis on the market and competitors, analysis of the product portfolio, sales by customers and regions, the potential of sales channels, etc., necessary for making business decisions

• Responsible for reporting and analyzing market share with the involvement of sales analyst and interact with external suppliers (Euromonitor, AC Nielsen). Quality control of the trade audit data provided

Position Requirements:

• High education in a business or analytical disciplines preferred (Economy, Sociology)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning, preferably in FMCG

• Strong PC skills (Excel, Power Point, other program related to demand planning)

• English - upper intermediate
