Outsource Art Manager (GameDev)

Game development studio 4A Games Ukraine is looking for Outsource Manager to join our team to take part in development of unannounced multiplatform AAA shooter (PC/Consoles). 

Responsibilities

The key responsibility of the Outsource Manager will be a collaboration with internal production management to identify needs, schedule, and manage to outsource assets delivery, including: 

• Be the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors. 

• Identify points that need to be outsourced in collaboration with the Art and Production management. 

• Request collection, formation of tech task for outsourcing, setting up deadlines and budget.  

• Control external assets delivery following internal quality standards, stylization, and deadlines. 

• Ensure timely exchange of feedback between the team and 3rd party contractors. 

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in game production. 

• Previous experience as Outsource Manager or similar. 

• Strong organizational and negotiation skills. 

• Technical understanding (topology, baking). 

• Art vision. 

• Experience with: Autodesk Maya/3Ds Max; Zbrush; 
  Adobe Substance 3D Painter; Adobe Photoshop; Marmoset Toolbag. 

• Strong English speaking and writing skills. 

Preferences

• Experience with various game engines (UE4/CryEngine/Unity/etc.). 

• Skill in one or more game art disciplines. 

• Released project. 

• Passion for games.
