Senior/Lead Node.js Developer

Required skills

— Strong Knowledge of JavaScript (3+ years of experience)
— Strong proficiency in NodeJS
— Experience with using VueJS for building user interfaces or UI components
— Strong analytical skills
— Understanding of performance, scalability, and security aspects of writing backend APIs
— Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other equivalent RDBMS
— Experience with modern principles of automated testing (unit, e2e)
— Commercial experience with payment systems/processors (Stripe, LiqPay, etc)
— Experience with Typescript
— Proficient in spoken English

As a plus

— Experience with ExpressJS/NestJS
— Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
— Good knowledge of Linux and Docker
— API design using Swagger/OpenAPI or similar
— Work experience with Jira
— Good understanding of the healthcare industry
— Experience in Microservices development

Responsibilities

— Building prototypes to quickly demonstrate new features and product ideas
— Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the platform
— Make sure produced code is secure, stable, and operating efficiently
— Creating and maintaining a common microservices platform and tooling
— Participating in sprint review demonstrations to gather analyst feedback
— Developing easy API integrations in NestJS
— Participation in planning sprints, daily meetings, retrospectives, code reviews with a team
— Estimation and implementation of sprint tasks
— Perform software deployment
— Use JIRA bug-tracking system
