Full stack Java Developer

We are seeking for a qualified and talented Java Developer to work on the projects of our partner Promptlink Communications, a leading solutions provider for cable industry (http://www.promptlink.com). Successful candidate will perform the full range of product development activities from specifications, research and design through development, testing and documentation.

Requirements

• Higher education in IT or Computer Science
• 1+ years of experience with Java
• Strong knowledge of object oriented programming and GoF design patterns
• Strong knowledge of Java Core, Collections and Multithreading
• Experience with web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery
• Ability to learn quickly, analyze and troubleshoot existing code
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical mindset, ability to develop software components independently, including design, high coding standards

• Intermediate English

Desired

• Open mindset, perfect communication and leadership skills, willing to lead a development team
• Basic knowledge of: Spring, Hibernate/JPA/JDBC
• Experience with databases (MySQL or similar)
• Build and Version Control: Git, Gradle, Jenkins
• XP Practices (TDD, Code review/coverage/refactoring)
• SCRUM/Agile Development methodology
• Others: Solr, Hazelcast

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, high-loading and concurrent server side modules
• Design and develop frontend side
• Requirements analysis, clarification, tasks decomposition and time estimation
• Development of Unit, Integration and Acceptance tests
• Code review
