    The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.



    The ICRC is mandated to work in countries affected by armed conflict or other situations of violence. The ICRC is present in over 80 countries and has some 13,000 field staff.



    In 2014, the ICRC expanded its presence to Ukraine. There are more than 500 ICRC staff working in Kyiv, Sloviansk, Severodonetsk, Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk and Odesa.

    Office Manager


    Based in Kyiv





    The Office Manager position will contribute to full scope of projects and activities of the Premises department, aimed at ensuring the vital activity of the residential and non-residential premises in the delegation's premises set-up. The position requires supervising skills (Domestic Staff), solution and customer orientation, good communication skills.





    • Supervises office and premises' related staff, including Domestic staff supervisor and Domestic staff (office ladies, 23 employees)
    • Drafts services contracts, lease agreements, memorandums, final settlement and notification letters, acts of acceptance and other correspondence related to the department
    • Deals with suppliers and other external providers if required
    • Manages internal ERP system - STM, makes proper follow-up of all internal maintenance/repair requests if required
    • Reports the security incident (theft, robbery, trial of intrusion, etc. / even a small detail) to supervisor
    • Ensures that the maintenance and security of ICRC premises is done up to the ICRC standard and deals efficiently with external companies if required
    • Ensures that office management and premises files are well kept
    • Ensures that regular maintenance and follow up of the ICRC furniture and equipment
    • Ensures that the inventory for equipment and furniture are done and filed



    The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs.





      Education and professional qualifications


    • Secondary school level or technical college
    • 2 years work experience in a similar field of activity
    • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
    • Good computer knowledge
