    The Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine is seeking to fill the following vacant position in Severodonetsk

     

    FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Resident position)

    Severodonetsk based

     

    AIM OF THE POSITION

     

    In line with ICRC policies and procedures to organise, structure and manage the Finance and Administration Department in order to ensure an adequate support to operations. To advise the Head of the Subdelegation on the best use of ICRC's resources (HR, Finance, Premises and Assets).

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

     

    • High Education (University or Institute)
    • 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
    • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
    • Very good computer literacy
    • Good rigor, method and analytical skills
    • Good Management skills
    • Good knowledge of the political, social and cultural assigned environment
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Working experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)

     

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Is responsible of the administration department in our Severodonetsk office, under supervision of a regional administrator
    • Ensures the timely integrity of the financial and analytical accounting, which includes the supervision of the accounting department, the preparation of the annual budget / monthly forecast and risk reporting
    • Handles administrative correspondence and filing of administrative documents
    • Supervises, coaches and evaluates staff working in the department
    • Is responsible of the administrative stock (furniture/ working equipment, etc), and ensure storage and dispatch of material is performed according to given procedures.
    • Acts as Human Resources responsible for staff members under local contract, carrying out specific activities along the HR-cycle
    • Maintains contact with external interlocutors (lessor's, suppliers, municipal authorities, financial institutions etc..)
    • Participates in the negotiations of lease contracts (premises ,office, warehouse)
    • Manages passive security (buildings protection against fire, intrusion, etc.)
