Foreign Trade Production Сompany, successfully working and developing on the territory of Ukraine, looking for Local Agribusiness Coordinator DBU, Vinnitsa Region

Main responsibilities:

• Coordination locally and/or execution of raw materials development/sourcing and sustainability projects;
• Collaborate in the development of projects lead by Group Sustainability and Origination Manager for Ukraine;
• Promote and coordinate projects in collaboration with Seed companies and local operators in each specific case. The objective will be to perform seed trials, on a global basis, to identify maize hybrids of interest for the dry milling industry;
• Report to Corporate Origination and Sustainability Department;
• Agro market research, suppliers assessment: cooperatives and raw material producers, focused on corn;
• To put in place all the measures in order to guarantee the Non GMO Status covering the whole raw material supply chain (seeds selection, planting, vegetative stage, reproductive stage and harvest);
• To ensure compliance of traceability and identity preservation procedures applicable for each specific raw material origin;
• Required to supervise the compliance of all the other conditions and contractual specifications associated;
• Coordinate with the Operations Department on hybrid trials and evaluations;
• Raise the purchase proposal according to the origins, costs and volumes of raw material agreed upon in accordance with the Business Plan;
• Research, negotiation and selection of logistics operators to deliver raw materials to the production plant in the Ukraine.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education;
• Preferably practical field training, acquired through experience or technical agricultural studies;
• Supply Chain (Logistics, warehousing, production scheduling) basic knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of environmental management and crop sustainability;
• Negotiation skills;
• Fluent in English;
• Professional background within the cereal sector from an agro technical perspective;
• Experience in logistics operations management, desirable in cereals field;
• Potential sources are Seed companies, First Class Superintendents or Grain Trading Companies (private or cooperatives), also the candidate could came from a sales position for agro market always in contact with agriculture;
• Leadership: demonstrated ability to motivate and promote changes in others related to a common purpose;
• Performance and Results Orientation: Maintains focus on key performance drivers, continuously improves processes, and consistently delivers results;
• Ability to analyse and manage conflicts and interests;
• Autonomy and self-demand;

Willing to travel domestically and internationally 25%.
