The Role: IFRS Specialist

The responsibility of the role is to make a smooth transition of accounting to IFRS and support for tax processes. The role also includes management reporting functions.

We are looking for professionals to help achieve our goal of becoming 'one of Europe's three most successful apparel retailers by 2023'.

Job Description:

• Managing the transition from UAS to IFRS (IFRS accounting policies, technical tasks to IT team to make changes in 1C, excel transformations if necessary and all other relevant processes);
• Managing the external IFRS audit processes;
• Ensuring accuracy of all relevant IFRS accounting/bookkeeping and tax processes.
• Ensuring the correctness of relevant book-keeping and supporting the preparation of all tax declarations;
• Follow up new tax legislation that may have an effect on IFRS/UAS accounting;
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for submission to HQ;

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economy
• English - intermediate level
• 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting, preferably in trading/retail companies and/or big4;
• Knowledge of 1C 8.2
• Experience in local accounting and tax legislation;
• IFRS knowledge; plus
• Result oriented and have a positive attitude,
• Team Player,
• Excellent communication skills,
• High sense of responsibility,
• Ability to work in a multinational/multicultural environment.
