Head Of HR

We are offering a great career opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the HR function and build L&D (Learning and Development) stream in the company. This is a full-time permanent position in Lviv (flexible hours, work from home is possible).




TechMagic is a growing IT company established 6 years ago and employing over 130 great people. For that reason, we would love our Head of HR to put the main focus on creating Learning and Development programs for the company.




  • Strong HR background (ideally 4+ years working in HR, talent management, and/or educational sector);

  • Experienced in corporate education and adults' professional training;

  • Able to work autonomously with minimal direction;

  • Business-oriented personality - good understanding of how the business environment operates;

  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution;

  • English level -  intermediate+ level.




Your responsibilities in L&D (~70% of time):

  • develop Leadership Training Programs;

  • manage our Training Center programs (JS, QA);

  • competence Groups coordination, set-up knowledge sharing practices among engineers;

  • organize internally or find outside trainings on request;

  • measure training effectiveness, collect feedback to improve training.


Your responsibilities as Head of HR (~30% of time):

  • supervise a team of 2 HR Operations Specialists;

  • make sure HR team reaches strategic goals and OKRs;

  • cooperation with Delivery Managers and other executive roles;

  • analyze HR metrics and identify opportunities for improvement, introduce new policies; 

  • HR budget management (plan, calculate, execute).


*Note: this position does NOT require involvement in recruiting, you will only be responsible for internal HR/L&D function.
