Technical Support Engineer for Betsson Group

On behalf of Betsson Group, Ciklum is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

Kyiv team is developing Payment system and solutions for our online entertainment platform. The role of Technical Support Engineer means that you will join and influence a project which is being created using the latest technologies (C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, JS Frameworks (Angular, Ember), Rabbit, Kafka, Docker, AWS, k8s, MS SQL Server, Redis, Cassandra, Couchbase, ASP .NET MVC), and test automation. We are a very Agile team that uses Scrum and common sense to assist in development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality 3rd line Technical Support for Payment System to our Customer Support Team in Malta, to our Partners and Engineers in Kyiv Team (Developers, DevOps, QAs etc.)
• Provide facilitation\orchestration in solving and reducing the number of tickets
• Participate in regular configurations of Payment System
• Communicate with partners/business clarifying operational requirements/conditions
• Learn our Payment System and underlying business model/processes

Requirements:

• Experience in IT/Software industry
• Knowledge of SQL: you can write scripts and reports
• Working knowledge of English (written/spoken)
• Both a strong team player and able to work independently
• Detail oriented, focused, with the right attitude of ‘getting things done’ and zero inbox
• Desire to provide luxury support

Desirable:

•  .NET/C# experience
• Experience with Jira, any source control systems, browser’s console
• Basic understanding of JS
• Previous experience in working within payment domain
• Understanding of online entertainment, gambling industry
