Middle PHP Developer for Just Eat

On behalf of Just Eat, Ciklum is looking for PHP Engineer for our team in Kyiv on full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Every member of the Technology team is responsible for:

• The availability, security, scalability of our e-commerce platform
• Delivering our product roadmap
• Planning for the future
• Generating enthusiasm and a sense of both technical and product pride

As a PHP Engineer you and your team will deliver high quality features and performance improvements to the EAT.ch Platform. Your work will truly make a difference, enabling EAT.ch to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Requirements:

Backend:

• Strong knowledge in OOP, SOLID principles, experience in applying them - is a MUST
• Experience with development production-ready solutions
• 2+ years experience with PHP 7, strong knowledge in language-specific features
• 2+ years experience with MySQL
• 1+ years experience with MVC framework (Laravel/Symfony)
• Experience with REST API development
• Experience in writing tests using (PHPUnit/Codeception)
• Experience with caching systems (Redis/Memcache)
• Comfortable with Linux/Mac environment

Desirable:

• Experience with JavaScript (ES6)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Understanding of application security and industry standards and best practices

Soft skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively with others both locally and remotely
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal English
• Continuous improvement
