Summary:
Head of Training Sub-Division is responsible for design and execution of staff training and development programs and activities of the Bank's employees to improve skills, leadership competencies, communication and effectiveness in order to achieve strategic goals set by the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
Identify training and development needs of management and staff in the Bank on an ongoing basis
Liaise with the Bank's businesses, line managers and teams to create training programs in line with business needs
Develop training programs, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, review current development programs to ensure adherence to the Bank's goals
Design and conduct train-the-trainer programs
Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs and activities through classroom training, demonstrations, webinars, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops, and e-learning platforms
Search and attract external training providers of the required programs and courses for the bank's employees
Prepare materials and carry out negotiations with external providers as appropriate
Develop training policies, procedures and manuals as required
Describe training business processes and training roadmaps
Prepare and up-date Annual Training Plan for all levels of employees in the Bank
Supervise design of new training programs
Provide insights regarding skills and competency gaps to support the learning & development need analysis and solution designs
Monitor the training budgets for implementation and control
Prepare training materials (video, slides, and films; maintain a library of training aids)
Ensure that regulatory changes in banking are delivered and embedded across the Bank's appropriate programs
Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
Design and conduct train-the-trainer programs
Facilitate development of digital learning programs
Elaborate and facilitate e-learning content for distant training courses
Encourage the use of the digital platforms and keep the Bank's employees up to date with the latest learning & development resources
Propose innovative approach and market best practice to provide more attractive and effective digital learning & development solutions
Facilitate teams of training course designers to implement the digital solutions and enhance the efficiency of learning & development
Assist in developing individual professional growth plans for Bank's employees
Develop methods and tools to measure development and training initiative impact and effectiveness across the organization
Develop metrics to assess training programs
Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs
Monitor, evaluate and review the progress of trainees through evaluation questionnaires and discussions with senior managers
Assess the learning and development needs for the organisation.
Maintain, submit and improve reporting information related to the area on a regular basis
Arrange updates and announcements to staff as appropriate
Organise, coordinate and manage local classroom trainings, distant trainings, coordinate logistics and payments
Provide staff with an understanding of established policies and procedures
Lead and mentor the training team
Act as a back-up for Head of Training and Development
Key Competencies
Advanced project and change management skills
Effective at identifying, evaluating and leveraging internal and external resources (people, technology/tools, platforms)
Strong digital savvy. Ability to introduce modern learning experiences and best practice
Attention to details to ensure the smooth learning processes and logistics
Excellent planning skills (ability to create learning plans and activities, set complex schedules) to ensure success of training events
Proven track record in managing large scale projects
Good understanding of training practice in a large organisation environment which is geographically dispersed
Advanced organization skills
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Ability to develop L&D policies, describe and communicate training activities
Knowledge of group facilitation tactics
Skill in aligning strategic and operational needs with training programs
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in human resources or related field- 5+ years of experience in HRM, Training and Development, Talent Management or related field
- 3+ years of managerial leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Good understanding of training practice and learning psychology in a large organisation environment which is geographically dispersed
- Fluent English and Ukrainian (oral and written)
- Proficiency in using MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
Certificates: Certification in business training, facility management, coaching or similar field is desirable
