Translator / Proofreader

Happy news! The Beetroot Academy family is growing, maybe you're our next member? This time, we are looking for an experienced translator who feels at home in the world of the English language and knows the specific IT terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread, correct and translate the texts provided by the authors
• Make automatic transcription of the video and proofread, translate it
• Proofread, correct and translate content for the course marketing materials
• Prepare presentations for local managers about courses
• Proofread all text content for LMS (name of the buttons etc)
• To be deeply aware of the program and course content

Relevant experience and abilities:

• 2+ years' experience in translation (UA-RUS-ENG)
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal in Ukrainian and Russian
• Exceptional writing and proofreading (including tone, structure, grammar, spelling, and factual accuracy)
• High organizational skills, self-motivated, outgoing and keep up-to-speed with industry developments
• Self-management and proactiveness

Bonus if you have:

• Understanding of IT education market in Ukraine and abroad
• Experience studying/working abroad (or in an international environment in Ukraine)
