Team Lead (DWH/ETL)

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, is looking for an experienced Team Lead to join its development center in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

· Work on a large-scale distributed system

· Design and develop innovative Big Data solutions including ETL/ analytics

· Act as a technical lead of the team

· Perform and review detailed design of functionality for the current sprint

· Perform code reviews

· Resources allocation for the sprint

· Help managing cross scrum teams communications

· Conflict resolution, focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect

· Reinforce communication within the team

· Arranges daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo, and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of the adaptation process.

· Development architecture solution

· Development design documentation

Skills and Qualifications

· Solid experience leading and managing technical teams

· Experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Kafka, MapReduce, Airflow

· Strong Java development skills

· Experience with ETL, real-time Big Data processing/analytics

· Experience with/desire to learn and work with Dataflow, BigQuery, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigTable (highly desired)

· Experience with Python, Scala (would be a plus)

· Degree in computer sciences, mathematics, physics or related discipline
