Senior/Lead Data Science Engineer

Zoral, a leading provider of research and development software, is hiring a strong Data Science Engineer in its development center in Kiev.

Responsibilities:

As a member of highly skilled Data Science team, you will participate in innovative algorithms development; optimization of businesses across all world continents, consulting; development of state-of-the art software in fast-growing fintech sector; with unique opportunity to collaborate in both research and production-level projects.

Required skills:

• Deep skills in machine learning\data science, experience with deep learning is a plus
• Expert use of SQL, experience with non-relational DBs is a plus
• Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Drill, Impala, Elastic search) is a plus
• Expert use of environments for statistical computation and data analysis (R or Python preferable)
• Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: credit risk management, financial analysis, marketing, fraud detection, consumer analytic, signal processing, computer vision
• Software development background is a plus
• Strong mathematical background.

Other skills:

• Fluent English is preferable
• Math science related higher education
• Team player
