MicroBilt Ukraine, a local subsidiary of a well-established US company (https://www.microbilt.com), is looking for a DB Developer SQL Server to work on a full-time basis in our Kharkiv office (we do not offer remote work). Salary up to $2500. By joining our team, you will be working directly for a US company. This means stability, lawfulness and professional growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Compose complex stored procedures for effectively and efficiently retrieving data from databases

• Create, deploy and maintain ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services

• Gain general know how and applied skills in effectively implementing fuzzy search algorithm software package used for querying databases

• Prepare and implement technical database designs for application enhancements and for data feeds product line

• Build database data layers called through workflows and accessed via web service

• Understanding and general familiarity with third party API for integration in to database products

• Contact and coordinate as necessary with data vendors and internal resources as necessary regarding data integrity, managing routine and non-routine updates, miscellaneous issues, etc.

• Primary responsibility of position is to perform SQL development; may also perform production DBA tasks such as production database support, database backups and maintenance plan management

• On-call rotation

Required skills:

• SQL Server 2005/2008 Standard/Enterprise - 3+ years

• Complex SQL Query Writing (XML) - 1.5+ years

• Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedures and indexing strategies. Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices

• XML Extraction and Transformation

• Business Intelligence / SSIS Package Development / ETL - 1.5+ years

• Visual Studio 2005/2008 / Vb.net/C# / .Net 2.0/3.0+ - 1.5+ years

• Visual SourceSafe 2005 - 6 months

Additional skills:

• English - Upper Intermediate level and up

• DBA experience is a big plus

• Experience with ASP.NET development

• WCF/WF/WSDL

• SQL CLR

• USPS CASS / NCOA

• QAS Intelligent Search

• MySQL 5.0
