We are looking for Factory HR Manager for its Ukrainian operations (1000 employees) to contribute as key business partner to factory transformation into a well performing manufacturing organization and enable its sustainable growth.

 

The Role

The purpose of the Factory HR Manager role is to lead HR Management function to improve internal and external customer satisfaction. Acting as a member of the Factory Management Team, HR Manager will drive implementation of HR best practices and realization of people business plan. This role will also contribute to development of Group People Strategy and creation of HR products to meet growing business needs. HR Manager will be based at operations in Kvasylyv, 7 km from Rivne. In this role HR Manager will report directly to Factory Manager and functionally to Group HR Director. He/she will lead local HR Team consisting of 6 Specialists and will cooperate with matrix HR Team of the Group in Eastern Europe.

 

Responsibilities

  • Secure Factory HR Operations are compliant to country legal requirements and Group policies.
  • Review and improve existing HR document flow (Internal regulations, Employment Contracts, Job Descriptions, Orders, etc.). Supervise automation of 
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall factory strategy.
  • Develop and monitor HR systems, tactics and procedures across the factory
  • To be able to create positive work environment with open collaboration with all Factory management team.
  • Report to Factory management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Represent the factory towards authorities on HR related matters, mandatory reporting.
  • Recruit personnel for the factory with support from Group Recruitment & Employer Branding Coordinator including mass-recruitment projects. Coordinate on-boarding programs.
  • Optimize factory HR processes based on considerate as-is analysis and planning, eliminate waste and prioritize activities that are value-adding to the business.
  • Systematically introduce integrated Human Resources Management system supported by Group Matrix HR Team on HR expert matters.
  • Act as business partner to factory leaders on HR processes: organizational structure and defining job profiles, interviewing and selection, on-boarding and adaptation, performance management, competence development, salary benchmark and revision, internal communications, etc.
  • Supervise HR KPIs reporting to Group level, analyze root causes of deviations and mitigate risks.
  • Develop own subordinates (6 Specialists), secure short-term substitution and potential long-term succession.

 

Profile

  • Male/female professional with experience in Human Resources function in the similar role or on HR Competence expert role preferably in industrial environment, i.e. HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Training & Development Manager, Senior Recruiter, etc.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian language, Upper-Intermediate English and digital literacy (MS Power Point and Excel is a must).
  • Basic knowledge of Ukrainian Employment legislation, related HR documentation and reporting.
  • Business acumen, process optimization skills, ability to balance big picture and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-focus mindset, ability to build relationship, to challenge the authority and argument own position.
  • Learning agility, interest to takeover new developing tasks/projects.
  • Presentation and training facilitation skills would be an advantage.
