Customs Broker

The Role

Home Group Holding is looking for Customs Broker for its operations in Rivne, Ukraine. Customs Broker will execute customs clearance procedures for import and export flows (EU, China, USA, other). He/she will report directly to Head of Logistics and will collaborate closely with Purchasing Specialists, Customer Service Specialists and with the rest of the Matrix Supply Chain Team in other Home Group locations. This is a full-time permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Organize customs clearance (import and export).
• Secure compliance to legal and corporate procedures.
• Represent Home Group and its Clients towards customs authorities.
• Consult Senior Management on application of customs procedures.
• Coordinate cooperation with freight forwarders, carriers and other business partners.
• Follow up on changes in customs regulations in Ukraine and where applicable in other countries.

Contribute to Group Supply Chain agenda by optimizing processes and participating in improvement projects of the Group.

Requirements

• Proven 1+ years of Customs Broker experience.
• PC literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and necessary customs programs.
• Sufficient professional written English language is necessary (to process customs clearance documentation and maintain correspondence with partners).
• Ability to communicate in English would be an advantage and would contribute to professional development in Home Group.
• Experience working with toll raw materials would be an advantage.
• Autonomy, accuracy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, persistence.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain relationship with stakeholders
