Bimbo QSR Ukraine is a part of GRUPO BIMBO, the biggest baking company in the world. Currently GRUPO BIMBO operates 202 bakeries in 32 markets around the globe, together with its 141.000 associates.

Bimbo QSR in EMEA includes the bakeries in France, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and South Africa.

Currently BQ Ukraine operates a bakery in Dnipro and employs approximately 110 staff. We have expansion projects for this Company.

THE JOB

Reporting Structure:

Reports to:Direct - Finance Director, EMEA region - (France);

Dotted - General Manager (Ukraine)

Direct Reports: Chief Accountant (Ukraine)

Indirect

Reports: Accounting team (2 staff - Ukraine)

Key Responsibilities

The background of this candidate must be a well-rounded business person with a solid financial and commercial foundation.

This role will head up the finance function in Ukraine and provide key support in the relationship management for the key customers of Ukraine.

The duties include overseeing Ukraine's general accounting, costing/profitability, product pricing, financial reporting, audit, treasury, budgeting & forecasting, taxes, IT (SAP), legal, banking, insurance and providing support for the management of key commercial activities & relationships.

More details are as follows:

• Develop and maintain relationships with the General Manager Ukraine, Operations team & GM EMEA Region, support the GM and Operations Team to ensure the development of their strategic growth and profitability goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers' supply chain, procurement and financial teams for the purpose of providing information that is financial, budget and pricing oriented.
• Coordination of preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the whole business in Ukraine.
• Analysis and review of performance against the budget, including recommendations for action to the General Manager Ukraine.
• Develop price proposals for new products and/or new customers, taking into account specific recipes and operating conditions required for the product or the customer.
• Prepare, review and analyze the monthly and quarterly reporting, conduct monthly balance sheet ANO PLL variance analysis and identify opportunities for improvements in operating working capital (A/R, A/P & inventory).
• Prepare and maintain timely and accurate bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Review and ensure the ongoing maintenance of internal control systems at the bakery. Coordinate internal audits (Corporate & customer) when applicable.
• Complete & review Business Cases & Capital Request Forms as required to justify important projects for Bimbo QSR Ukraine.
• Other raevant activities as requested.

Key Skills

Required:

• Professionally qualified accountant: CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Must be fluent in English (advanced level)
• Previous experience required in preparation of financial statements for a multi-national company under IFRS (or US GAAP), using an international ERP system.
• Understanding of manufacturing/cost accounting gained through previous working experience in a process manufacturing enterprise is required.
• Able to work autonomously in an international environment, whilst ensuring that Corporate ethics & policies are enforced.
• Ability to deliver within tight deadlines (2 day monthly closing).
• Exposure to customer relationships & price negotiation
• Managerial experience
• Day to day working experience with SAP finance /costing.
• Aptitude to work in matrix organization and with different stake holders.
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of both local and international tax rules.
• Reliable work ethic

Desired:

• Food industry experience is preferred
• Spanish language would be a plus
• Knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution and/or Procure to Pay would be a plus.

Travel requirements

• Anticipate 2 - 3 trips per year to other markets for meetings within the EMEA Region for various business and financial issues.
