Junior PHP/Laravel Developer

Project description: 

Australian startup Koolcat is a SaaS solution that helps to fully automate the management of martial arts schools. The second version of the application is about to be released soon. We need one more web developer for further support, bugfix and develop new functionality of the system, who will be supervised and mentored by one of our senior developers at the project.

Required skills:

• Strong competence in PHP 7+ and Laravel 5+;
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL;
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and jQuery;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and the ability to integrate 3rd party APIs would be a plus;
• English: Intermediate+ (must).

Responsibilities:

• Writing reusable, testable and efficient code;
• Estimating tasks and workload to meet deadlines;
• Daily communication (oral and written) with the client.
