DevOps Engineer

Required skills:

• More than two years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role), experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus;
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration;
• Strong experience with databases such as SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, and/or Mongo;
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java/JavaScript/Perl/Ruby/Python/ Bash;
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services (AWS, GCS);
• Experience in working with Ansible or Chef for automation and configuration;
• Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
• Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
• Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
• Solid team player.
• English - at least Intermediate level.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in building of high load systems

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and monitor active networking equipment; 

• Process automation; 

• Work with AWS - instance type selection, creation, setup and software configuration; 

• AMI creation and modification, monitor and load analysis. 

• CI Jenkins - setup, configuration, creation and support of automated builds and application deployment; 

• Script automation of common activities; 

• Docker - containerization, setup, software configuration and orchestration.
