    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute to an overarching technology strategy focusing on a culture of positive user experience, innovation, efficiency, high availability, security, financial performance and collaboration across a multi-region, multi-culture environment.
    • Drive the System Administration department towards achieving and exceeding the organisation's goals and objectives, particularly within reliability, efficiency, security, innovation, financial performance and stakeholder engagement.
    • Develop a culture of collaboration at individual, team, departmental and organisational levels ensuring that there is clarity in and communication of strategies, projects, initiatives, processes and procedures.
    • Manage and optimise clearly defined technology stacks and strategies driving towards optimal alignment across all sites, locations and networks.
    • Maintain a strong focus on innovation by continually studying current and new industry trends, technologies and opportunities. Push this focus through respective departments applying innovation into organisation standards.
    • Manage, report on, and drive achievement of individual, team and departmental KPIs, goals and objectives.

    Collaborate with management to ensure clarity and understanding, providing guidance and advice of respective technologies within the organisation.

    • Manage technological risks, vulnerabilities, debt, disaster recovery and emergency recovery processes, and overall security and compliance requirements ensuring adequate mitigations are executed and maintained.
    • Supervise the administration of systems in the company environment, including supporting varying specific enterprise technologies, clustering, load balancing, CDN, replication, web services, databases, CM tools, and other networking and management services, to ensure max performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with the Integrations department to drive execution of infrastructure-related projects with a strong focus on achieving alignment, optimisation, operational and financial synergies. Ensure there is clarity, understanding and appropriate planning, inclusive of timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
    • Continually optimise the performance of the System Support team through consistent development and training, utilising a maintained skills matrix to identify areas of necessary focus.
    • Maintain and optimise escalation processes and procedures, ensuring clarity across all departments.
    • Ensure adequate documentation across the System Administration department, including frequent contribution to the documentation process.
