Head of IT and Learning Technologies
BISU is growing and happy to announce a new senior position role. We are determined to develop our digital services and build an inspirational learning environment accessible from any location.
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in an international company
- Upper-Intermediate English, Ukrainian
- Strong communication digital collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and organisation as well as project management skills
- Positive outlook and can-do attitude
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services
- Experience in deploying new software products
- Good understanding of cloud solutions
- Managing the continuous development of the team
Key duties and responsibilities
- Maintenance of the school’s IT services and planning continuous strategic improvements in compliance with the development plans;
- Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs;
- Planning, developing and implementing the IT budget;
- Ensuring that software licensing laws, health and safety policies are executed;
- Running regular checks on network and data security;
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems;
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation;
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff;
- Conducting regular system audits;
- Running and sharing regular reports with senior staff;
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
