Junior Finance Specialist

Background:

Asset Management Company "Valprim" manages the assets of three investment venture funds. On behalf of the funds, the company has invested in several projects and businesses (around 30). Finance Team is responsible for control of assets, reporting and audit of portfolio companies.

Job description:

Finance team is looking for a junior finance specialist to join Finance Team. A candidate will work under supervision of experienced specialists and assist team with tasks that include but are not limited to:

• Due diligence of new and potential investment projects

• Assessment of projects and business models

• Development and improvement of internal reporting

• Internal audit of portfolio companies (incl. audit of financial statements, analysis of business processes, anti-fraud investigations, control testing etc.)

• Ad-hoc requests from management

A candidate will be trained and coached to achieve proficiency in corporate finance, Ukrainian Accounting Standards, IFRS, tax accounting etc.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

• English (desirable level - intermediate or upper intermediate)

• Ability and desire to learn fast

• Critical thinking, can-do approach and self-organization skills
