Senior Automation Engineer (Tech Lead)

6-Systems is developing and operating innovative IT solutions for the Sixt Group and well known European automobile suppliers. In this role you will be responsible for testing of Sixt Leasing software. Working within an Agile environment with a range of WEB- and Backend systems, participate in business requirements clarification, specify and perform end-to-end functional, integration and regression tests of software as well as contributing to product knowledge base and test documentation.

Essential requirements:

deep understanding of development processes and software life cycle

good knowledge of different testing methods and techniques

understanding of web technologies: networking, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript,

JSON, REST, SOAP, XML/XPath, JMeter

automation testing using Selenium Web driver

years of experience in quality assurance of heterogeneous Applications

experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN or others)

experience with SQL

experience with bug tracking systems / test tracking systems

good ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

Nice to have:

ISTQB certificate

experience in writing of API tests

Automation end to end (E2E) testing written in Node.js using Cucumber test framework , Protractor test driver

upper intermediate level of English
